Yesterday, I released Zustand v5.0.2. It includes two fixes in middleware. One is a type improvement in devtools to address an edge case. The other is a bug fix in persist. In v5.0.0, there was a non-trivial code change that introduced a behavioral change, but it also accidentally introduced a bug. That bug has now been resolved in v5.0.2.

Both fixes in this release were contributed by contributors, and all I had to do was create the patch release. What a nice story. I also confirmed that all tests pass with React 19-rc.1. Zustand feels very stable at the moment. It’s used in many projects, and I haven’t seen any critical issues in the core for a while. That’s fantastic.
