After releasing Valtio v2, we received feedback about a warning with SSR. It’s about a false-positive warning when using useLayoutEffect. To be honest, I forgot about it when I released v2, but this is something we had already discussed when making the change. The reason we made this change was that React removed the warning, proving it’s a false positive in most cases. The question is, we have users with older React versions. So, we decided to let it go and see how people would respond. During the alpha/beta/rc periods, nobody complained. And I forgot about it. Now, there are some complaints. Is the blame on me? Or is it on users who didn’t try it during the rc period? I think neither is wrong, and people not trying it during the rc period is somewhat expected, so everything is correct. We had to release it to get feedback.
