Jotai v2.9.1 has been released. There are some fixes included, but most notably, one fix addresses a regression in v2.9.0. v2.9.0 introduced my full rewrite of store.ts. It's a rewrite since pre-v1. To be honest, rewriting the store code is a very difficult task even for me. There are many edge cases to cover, especially promise handling and the onMount callback, which are complicated. Without test code, I wouldn't have been able to rewrite it. In that sense, the test code is more valuable than the library code. If tests are missing, we could have bugs, and that happened. Someone revealed that the new store doesn't work like before with the unmounting callback. We didn't have a test for it. It's great that the person who reported the issue also fixed it. My motivation for the new store implementation in v2.9.0 was to allow contributors to work on it. And, it's kind of proved. Would anyone else be interested in reading the Jotai store code?
