Jotai v2.6.4 has been released. This patch release includes a performance improvement for re-computing derived atoms. Jotai is a kind of reactive system, where a capability called glitch-free is important in some cases. Jotai v1 worked natively without glitches, but Jotai v2 changed the internal architecture, and it now has to explicitly deal with glitches. I wrote the original code for this, which I somewhat knew was inefficient. Lately, several people reported a performance drop in Jotai with a relatively large data graph. Fortunately, one of the contributors fixed this issue and opened a PR! How nice. After some discussions and tweaks, the PR was merged and published as v2.6.4. I hope people find it useful.
